Event Attracts Over 100 Higher Education Institutions and More than 1,000 Attendees

On 27 and 28 September, Wittenborg participated in the education fair Onderwijsbeurs Zuid, an event that gathered more than 100 higher education institutions in the town of Veldhoven, located in North Brabant. The initiative was coordinated by Organisatie Groep Zuid. 

Held at Hotel NH Eindhoven Koningshof, the fair attracted over 1,000 attendees, including young people, parents, deans and mentors. The purpose of the event was to showcase various schools and universities in the Netherlands, providing prospective students with information about potential study paths, programmes and specialisations.

Wittenborg was represented by Admissions Administrator Allegra Zazzaro and interns Upinder Kaur and Rohan David. 

Zazzaro highlights that the atmosphere of the fair was very positive, adding that she had the chance to interact with many prospective students. She points out that Wittenborg stands out for its practical approach, including project weeks and internships, as well as its six annual intakes and the fact that the school has students of over 100 nationalities. 

“I was able to talk to a lot of students and understand their passions and the direction they want to go. I gave them tips and orientation, and also explained Wittenborg’s focus on business and the study options we offer. I had an amazing time and I’m grateful to Upinder and Rohan for their help. We are looking forward to participating in more events of this kind!”

Onderwijsbeurs Noordoost

Wittenborg was also present at the Onderwijsbeurs Noordoost event, held from October 4 to 5 in Hardenberg, Overijssel. This smaller fair was primarily attended by Dutch students from the Leeuwarden and Groningen regions. The school was represented by Zazzaro and intern Maulik Barot.

According to Zazzaro, the students who visited Wittenborg's stand showed particular interest in the fields of business and economics, as well as the opportunity to study in an international environment.
